Safi – Morocco will field four riders across three disciplines at the FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany, the Royal Moroccan Equestrian Sports Federation (FRMSE) announced on Tuesday.
The federation gives the championship dates as August 10-23. Competition officially opens a day later, on August 11, the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) says, with August 10 set aside for the first horse inspections and the start of streaming coverage.
The program covers six disciplines, from jumping and dressage to driving and vaulting. Morocco is entered in three.
Noor Slaoui rides Légende P in eventing, held August 13-16, while Yessin Rahmouni partners Kind of Magic in dressage, which runs August 11-15. Eventing combines dressage, cross-country and show jumping over several days.

Slaoui is the most decorated of the four. At Paris 2024, she became the first rider to represent Morocco in Olympic eventing and the first woman from the Arab world and North Africa to contest the discipline at the Games. She rides Légende P in Aachen, a change from her Paris mount, Cash in Hand.
The show jumping entry, contested August 18-23, is the largest. Abdeslam Bennani Smires is set to ride Mister d’Éclipse, and Abdelkebir Ouaddar will compete on Larsino, a horse owned by King Mohammed VI.
Ouaddar, 64, rode for Morocco at the 2016 Rio Olympics and the Tokyo 2020 Games, and missed Paris 2024 after his horse was injured. The FRMSE owns the horses ridden by Slaoui and Bennani Smires.

The federation said the four riders earned their places through their results and consistency at the top level. It called the selection a sign of the steady rise of Moroccan equestrian sport internationally.
