Rabat – Moroccan international Soufiane Rahimi has been named the best player in the UAE Pro League for the 2025-2026 season after winning a public vote.
The Al Ain striker received the highest number of votes in a poll organized by the UAE Pro League through its official website and smart application. He finished ahead of several of the league’s top players, including his Al Ain teammate Rami Rabia and Argentine midfielder Nicolas Jimenez of Al Wasl.
The Moroccan forward has established himself as one of the leading players in Emirati football since joining Al Ain. His performances have also made him an important player for the Moroccan national team.
Rahimi played a key role for Al Ain during the 2025-2026 campaign as the club returned to the top of UAE football. Al Ain won the UAE Pro League title for the 15th time in its history, ending a three-season wait for the league trophy.
The title was an important achievement for Al Ain, one of the most successful clubs in the UAE. Rahimi’s performances were part of a strong campaign that saw the club regain its place at the top of the domestic league.
The Moroccan striker has also built a strong reputation through his performances with both club and country. Before becoming an Al Ain player, Rahimi made his name in Morocco with Raja Casablanca, where he won the CAF Confederation Cup twice and the CAF Super Cup once.
He later moved to Al Ain in 2021 and quickly became one of the club’s key attacking players. His performances have also attracted attention outside the UAE, particularly after his strong displays for Morocco in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
