Meknes – Italian side Lazio have joined the pursuit of Yanis Begraoui, but Estoril are holding firm on their €12 million price tag for the forward.
According to FootMercato, Lazio have reportedly set their sights on Begraoui after his standout campaign in Portugal, giving the former Toulouse attacker a potential opening to make his Italian debut.
Estoril are demanding a €12 million fee to part ways with their star striker. It is a substantial price tag for a player who arrived on a free transfer from Toulouse in the summer of 2024, but it reflects his rapid progression in Portugal.
Lazio’s interest stems directly from Begraoui’s impressive output this past season. The 25-year-old striker has taken his game to another level with Estoril Praia, establishing himself as one of the top goalscorers in Liga Portugal.
During the 2025/26 campaign, the Moroccan international netted 20 goals in 34 league appearances. His impressive tally demonstrated his lethal instinct inside the penalty box and highlighted his role as the focal point of Estoril’s attack.
The Moroccan striker brings a wealth of professional experience from both France and Portugal. Following his formative years at Auxerre, he spent spells with Toulouse and Pau FC prior to putting down roots at Estoril.
As Lazio continue to assess Estoril’s valuation, Begraoui stands on the verge of the biggest move of his career. Whether he completes the transfer to Serie A or remains in Portugal, his rapid transformation into a proven goalscorer ensures that his next chapter will be closely watched across European football.
