Rabat – Bayern Munich and Germany midfielder Jamal Musiala has reassured fans about his health after suffering recent fainting episodes during matches against RB Leipzig and Heidenheim.
Musiala addressed the situation in a post on Instagram, thanking fans for their messages and support while confirming that he is receiving medical care.
“First of all, I’m fine,” Musiala said, explaining that doctors had identified the episodes as brief and temporary fainting spells linked to a neurological issue.
The 23-year-old stressed that the episodes may appear frightening but said he is receiving excellent medical care and has the continued support of Bayern Munich, his family, and close friends.
Musiala also said there is no other health risk identified at this stage. He explained that his decision to continue his daily activities and play football was made after consulting specialists and receiving clearance from neurologists.
The German international added that he remains optimistic about his recovery and is focused on returning to the pitch and helping Bayern Munich compete for titles.
Musiala concluded his message by thanking supporters for their concern while asking them to respect his privacy regarding the details of his medical condition.
The Bayern star’s statement comes after his recent episodes raised concerns among fans and sparked questions about his ability to continue playing at the highest level. His latest update, however, is intended to reassure supporters that he remains under professional medical supervision.
