Saham Group Raises Teleperformance Stake to About 12.7% Through €355 Million Deal

Moroccan businessman and the founder of the Saham Group, Moulay Hafid Elalamy.

Agadir – Morocco’s Saham Group has increased its stake in French digital business services company Teleperformance through a €355 million equity swap agreement, reaching an approximately 12.7% of Teleperformances share capital, according to official regulatory and company filings.

Moulay Hafid Elalamy’s Saham Investments IV Limited, completed the final delivery of 236,059 Teleperformance shares on September 2, bringing the total number of shares acquired through the operation to more than 5.2 million.

According to a disclosure published by France’s Financial Markets Authority (AMF), the equity swap involved a maximum of 9.71 million Teleperformance shares and had a total value of up to €355 million. The agreement was signed on March 2 this year, with settlement to take place in shares, with the possibility of cash settlement.

The transaction was completed through three share deliveries. Saham received 3.72 million shares on April 10, followed by 1.32 million shares on May 11 and a final 236,059 shares on September 2.

The AMF filing said the final transaction represented an effective acquisition of shares by Saham Investments IV Limited and that no shares were sold by Saham or entities acting in concert with it.

The AMF disclosure said Saham intended to support Teleperformance’s strategy under its new governance, including initiatives to improve operational efficiency, investment in artificial intelligence, and a new shareholder-return policy.

Following the final delivery, Saham’s holdings from the three share deliveries totaled 5,277,635 shares.

Combined with the 2,304,054 shares already held by Saham Group at the end of 2025, the disclosed holdings amount to 7,581,689 shares. Teleperformance reported 59,874,365 shares outstanding at the end of 2025.
