Rabat – UAE side Khorfakkan confirmed the signing of Ramiro Vaca on Sunday, bringing the Bolivian international from Moroccan club Wydad AC.
The club announced the arrival of the 27-year-old midfielder on social media.
“Bolivian international Ramiro Vaca joins the ranks of Khorfakkan. Welcome to Khorfakkan,” the Emirati club said.
The UAE club did not disclose the financial details of the deal.
Vaca began his professional career at Bolivian side The Strongest before moving to Belgian club Beerschot.
The midfielder returned home in 2023 to feature for Bolívar across a three-year spell before making the switch to Moroccan giants Wydad AC in early 2026.
Vaca signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Moroccan side, making 18 Botola Pro appearances, scoring four goals and providing two assists before his move to Khorfakkan.
At international level, Vaca has been a mainstay for Bolivia since his debut in 2017, earning around 48 caps and scoring five goals.
At Khorfakkan, he will reunite with national team captain Luis Haquin, who joined the Emirati side in August 2026 following a spell with Saudi outfit Al Tai and has already established himself in the squad.
Khorfakkan currently sit 11th in the UAE Pro League table after five matches, with one win, one draw, and three defeats.
The addition of Vaca is expected to provide major creativity and experience in attacking midfield as the club seeks to turn its season around.
