Rabat – Rabat Business School (RBS) is celebrating becoming the first business school in Morocco and Francophone Africa to obtain the “Triple Crown” of international business school accreditations.
The business school, which is part of the International University of Rabat (UIR), said AMBA accreditation is held by fewer than 1% of business schools worldwide. RBS is also only the fifth in Africa to obtain this distinction.
The school described the achievement as “another major milestone in its international development by obtaining AMBA accreditation.
This makes RBS a holder of the Triple Crown, meaning the university now combines three international accreditations in management, including AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA.
RBS Dean Nicolas Arnaud celebrated the distinction as a new major achievement, saying the news added another unique milestone to the school’s portfolio.
“After entering the Financial Times Top 10, this Triple Crown further demonstrates that academic excellence knows neither borders nor geography,” Arnaud said.
He added that the distinction rewards the “collective work of a community that has chosen to pursue the highest international standards from Morocco and Africa, for the world.”
Each of the accreditations under RBS’s belt recognizes the school’s high standards and quality. AACSB, for instance, acknowledges the school’s commitment to student success, innovation, strategy, and impact, while the EFMD Global accreditation, EQUIS, assesses the overall quality of a business school and its internationalization, in addition to programs, research, relationships with companies, and commitment to continuous improvement,
Now, the AMBA recognizes the world-class quality of the school’s MBA programs, namely assessing the quality of teaching, curricula, career development, and employability.
Beyond the Triple Crown, RBS has entered the Financial Times global top 10 for Masters in Management, ranking first worldwide for graduate salary progression and overall satisfaction and fifth worldwide for career progression.
