Casablanca – TAMWILCOM launched the “Tournée des Territoires” on Thursday in Tangier, with the first stop introducing a new co-financing offer with banking institutions.
The initiative comes as TAMWILCOM implements JOSSOUR 2030, its 2026-2030 strategic plan, which places greater territorial impact and stronger engagement with economic actors among its objectives.
TAMWILCOM said the tour will take the institution to different regions to meet financial partners and businesses. The meetings aim to strengthen direct dialogue with regional stakeholders, explain its guarantee and financing mechanisms, and better match its solutions with the needs of businesses and projects in each territory.
The Tangier stop also marked the launch of a new co-financing offer developed with banks. The offer targets three priority categories, namely women business owners, Moroccans living abroad who are developing investment projects, and companies pursuing green and sustainable investments.
Eligible beneficiaries can access the financing under preferential rates, giving them more favorable conditions for investment projects. TAMWILCOM will present the offer, its terms and its benefits during meetings with companies.
The new initiative comes after a busy first half of 2026 for TAMWILCOM. The institution mobilized MAD 23.9 billion ($2.47 billion) in financing during the first six months of the year. Its commitments reached MAD 14.7 billion ($1.52 billion) across more than 31,500 credit operations.
Businesses accounted for nearly 26,000 of those operations, with microenterprises and small businesses among the main beneficiaries.
Expanding support across regions
Private companies remained at the center of TAMWILCOM’s activity, with guarantees helping mobilize nearly MAD 20 billion ($2.07 billion) in corporate loans. The institution recorded MAD 11.5 billion ($1.19 billion) in commitments in this area.
Through Damane Express, TAMWILCOM guaranteed more than 20,000 loans worth MAD 2.7 billion ($278.8 million) for microenterprises and very small businesses.
Its Damane Atassyir mechanism helped mobilize MAD 14.5 billion ($1.50 billion) in working-capital credit, while TAMWILCOM commitments reached MAD 7.9 billion ($815.9 million). Damane Istitmar, which supports business investment, covered MAD 2.4 billion ($247.9 million) in loans, with commitments reaching MAD 1.3 billion ($134.3 million).
TAMWILCOM also recorded growth through DAAMA TAMWIL, its participatory finance window. The mechanism provided more than MAD 400 million ($41.3 million) in business financing during the first half, marking a 72% increase from the same period in 2025.
The institution also provided guarantees for financing instruments raised by public establishments and enterprises from domestic and international lenders, generating MAD 2 billion ($206.6 million) in commitments.
TAMWILCOM’s financial results for the six months ending June 30 showed net banking income of MAD 413 million ($42.7 million) and net income of MAD 198 million ($20.5 million).
After Tangier, the “Tournée des Territoires” will continue through 10 other regions, with meetings planned for banking institutions and businesses.
TAMWILCOM will also introduce regional awards for its best financial partners during the tour. The awards recognize partners’ contribution to mobilizing TAMWILCOM guarantee mechanisms and supporting businesses with their projects.
