Rabat – Morocco’s Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication has recently launched an innovative initiative in the video game industry.

The initiative is designed to foster local gaming startups and strengthen the country’s position in the global gaming market.

The ministry launched the program in collaboration with the French embassy, translating the government’s commitment to agreements signed in October 2025 between Morocco and France.

This innovative program will offer Moroccan video game production companies comprehensive support customized to their specific needs.

While gaining access to a strategic network of industry leaders, participants will benefit from specialized training modules led by internationally acknowledged gaming experts

“This initiative represents a significant step forward in developing Morocco’s creative industries,” said the ministry in a statement.

The program aims to help entrepreneurs in structuring their businesses effectively, in order to ensure their sustainable growth and enhance technical capabilities in an ever-growing competitive gaming sector.

This partnership reflects both countries’ commitment to developing Morocco’s cultural and creative industries, with a particular focus on the gaming sector.

Interested companies can submit their applications through the official website until February 20, 2025.

The program is set to establish Morocco as a regional hub for video game development, backing up startups and creating valuable synergies among various stakeholders in the gaming ecosystem.

Opening up new opportunities for young entrepreneurs and creative professionals in the digital sector, the initiative is geared towards making Morocco’s gaming sector more competitive and sustainable.

The launch of this incubator program reflects Morocco’s broader strategy to diversify its economy and tap into the rapidly growing global gaming industry.
