Moroccan football superstar Achraf Hakimi has declared he’s bursting with pride after fans across the globe crowned him the best right-back on the planet, according to Score 90

The Paris Saint-Germain star, 26, opened up in an interview with beIN Sports, revealing how the title fuels his hunger for even more success. “It’s an incredible feeling to be seen as the best right-back in the world,” said Hakimi. “It shows people notice my hard work, and that only makes me want to push myself further.”

At the same time, the speedster right back showed great respect to his rivals. “There are so many amazing players in this position,” he admitted. “Jules Koundé is on fire for Barcelona, Trent Alexander-Arnold is a standout player for Liverpool, and I always keep an eye on Kyle Walker’s performances.”

When it comes to football idols, Hakimi is inspired by a recently retired Brazilian legend. “Marcelo has always been my hero,” he admitted. “He played on the left, but his style, flair, and love for the game shaped how I play today.”

With his blistering pace, pinpoint crosses, and relentless drive, Hakimi isn’t just living up to the hype — he’s rewriting the script. And as he blazes down the pitch, it looks like the crown of best right-back is his to keep for years to come.

Hakimi also opened up on how PSG manager Luis Enrique helped him evolve as a player. “Before, I didn’t play like this,” Hakimi revealed. “It’s thanks to Luis Enrique. When he arrived at PSG, he taught me new moves and tactics. It’s great for the team, and I’m not the kind of player who stagnates. I love exploring new aspects of football.”

Hakimi boasts a blistering pace, pinpoint crosses, and relentless drive to attack the opposition’s box. He joined PSG in the summer of 2021 after a successful season with Inter Milan.

In Paris, we won three consecutive Ligue 1 championship titles, three trophée des Champions, and one Coupe de France.

PSG has recently extended Hakimi’s stay until 2029 with an improved financial package to thwart any potential suitors vying for the world-class player.
