Rabat – Morocco’s Football Federation (FRMF) has announced the tickets for the upcoming match between Morocco and Tanzania as part of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

FRMF added that, according to match organizers, ticket sales are open for the match, which will take place on Tuesday of next week at the Honor Stadium in Oujda at 9:30 p.m. Moroccan time.

Football fans who want to see the action live can buy their tickets online at www.webook.com. Fans can enter the stadium using these mobile tickets, or they can collect physical ones as well.

“A physical ticket can also be collected starting from Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. across different points,” FRMF mentioned.

The sale points include Oujda’s Municipal Stadium, 16 August Indoor Hall, Prince Heritier Moulay El Hassan Indoor Sports Hall, and rugby stadium.

Tickets can also be collected in the city of Berkane in the Municipal Stadium.

Ticket counters are open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and prices range between MAD 200, MAD 100, and MAD 50.

Morocco secured a good win on Friday against Niger 2-1, securing its position at the top of Group E with 12 points.

Niger and Tanzania trail behind with six points each, while Zambia is the last on the list with three points.

The FIFA website commended the Atlas Lions, describing coach Walid Regragui as the “most brilliant coach in the history of Moroccan football and its national team.”

FIFA recalled Regragui’s achievements, remembering that he led Wydad to victory in the 2022 CAF Champions League, which punched their ticket to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

“Not to mention that he also led Morocco to the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, a remarkable achievement in African football which he hopes to replicate or surpass in the next year’s 48-team tournament,” FIFA wrote.

In regards to Tuesday’s showdown, FIFA said Tanzania beat Morocco in a single meeting in 2013.

“Since then, though, the Atlas Lions have triumphed in three encounters, scoring seven goals against one for Tanzania,” FIFA added.

While Morocco is the best team in Africa, the Atlas Lions should be cautious, as all African teams now dream of beating the World Cup semi-finalists to prove their strength and enhance their football status on an international scale.
