Rabat – German industrial giant Böllhoff, a leader in fastening technologies and assembly and logistics solutions, has signed a partnership agreement with Midparc, a Moroccan integrated industrial platform.
The agreement, signed on Wednesday in Rabat, was hailed by Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ryad Mezzour, as a crucial step towards diversifying the country’s industrial partnerships and bolstering its domestic manufacturing capabilities.
“This is the first time a German investor specializing in fastening technologies and assembly and logistics solutions has settled in Morocco,” Mezzour highlighted.
Böllhoff’s decision to establish a presence in Morocco follows a string of international companies setting up shop at Midparc, including Spanish aerospace leader Aciturri and Canadian firm Shimco.
“The choice of Böllhoff to settle in Midparc is motivated by the performance of the business model it offers, allowing it to co-locate a part of its production in Morocco,” explained Hamid Benbrahim El Andaloussi, president of Midparc.
El Andaloussi further emphasized that Böllhoff’s arrival, with its “differentiating technologies,” will not only strengthen the resilience of Morocco’s industrial ecosystem but also contribute to the nation’s pursuit of industrial sovereignty.
Michael W. Böllhoff, co-director of the Böllhoff group, echoed the company’s commitment to Morocco, expressing their intention to “invest more in Morocco, hire more people, and expand its activities over the next 5 years.”

A global leader in its field, Böllhoff boasts an impressive footprint with 43 production sites spread across 25 countries. The company employs over 3,400 people worldwide and generates a substantial annual turnover exceeding 800 million euros.
The partnership with Midparc positions Böllhoff to capitalize on Morocco’s strategic location at the crossroads of Europe and Africa, further solidifying its global presence.
Midparc, a pioneering industrial zone in Morocco, has already attracted a multitude of international corporations, including industry giants like Boeing and Stelia Maroc. The platform offers a unique logistical advantage, providing companies with a seamless gateway to both European and African markets.
The addition of Böllhoff to this growing roster of international firms highlights Midparc’s success in establishing itself as a premier destination for industrial investment in Morocco.
