Moroccan-Dutch champion Ambar Tesoudali is set to face Dutch fighter Kaiya Maassen on Saturday, 22 November. The fight will take place in the 48 kg category at the Zyaten Indoor Arena, starting at 6:00 p.m.
The event is organized by the Association des Amis de Tanger, in partnership with the Souani Commune and the Royal Moroccan Federation of Kickboxing Muay Thai. It also coincides with Morocco’s celebration of Independence Day on November 18.
At just 14 years old, Ambar Tesoudali continues to build an impressive career in martial arts. She has practiced kickboxing Muay Thai for six years and has already earned several international titles, including IFP/Enfusion Youth Title, IFP Youth Title, two Strawweight Championship titles, and a WTKA Muay Thai victory.
Ambar is known for her speed, technique, and strong fighting spirit, earning recognition from major organizations such as the International Fight Promotion (IFP).
Despite her intense training schedule, Ambar remains committed to her education. She has spoken many times about her dream of becoming a doctor in the future, as she revealed in an interview with Morocco World News last year.
Beyond sports, Ambar has also shined in the arts and film. She took part in the Belgian movie “Patser 2,” directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, where she worked as a stunt double and boxing consultant for actress Nora Gharib. The young fighter contributed to production through her boxing expertise and served as a stand-in for Nora Gharib. The film premiered in Antwerp in February 2025.
Ambar is also active in humanitarian work in Morocco. She organized a recreational event for children at Dar Nassim Association in Oujda and participated in the social platform “Nta3awno,” also in Oujda.
Although she was born and lives in Belgium, Ambar remains deeply connected to her Moroccan roots and proudly expresses her love for her country.
