Rabat –  King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and sympathy to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain following the killing of two members of the Bahraini Armed Forces in a terrorist attack in Yemen.

“Following the martyrdom of two members of the Bahraini Armed Forces and the injury of others while carrying out their duty in arab solidarity to defend the sovereignty and unity of our brotherly Yemen, I extend to your majesty, and through you to the bereaved families and the brotherly Bahraini people, my deepest condolences and sincere feelings of solidarity and sympathy,” the King said in his message.

Also expressing his solidarity with and support for Bahrain, Morocco’s Foreign Affairs Ministry issued today a statement condemning the terrorist attack that targeted forces participating in operations Decisive Storm and Restore Hope on the southern border of Saudi Arabia.

The attack killed two Bahraini army personnel and injured many others.

Carried out by a Saudi-led coalition, Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restore Hope are part of Saudi Arabia’s intervention in the Yemen crisis.
