Rabat – FC Barcelona were crowned La Liga champions following a 2–0 masterclass against Real Madrid, securing the championship at the Spotify Camp Nou.

In a clash marked by strategic precision and immense pressure, Barcelona’s victory over Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou officially brought the title race to a close. The result confirms the hosts as La Liga champions with three games remaining.

With the final whistle confirming a 2–0 victory, Barcelona has officially moved to 91 points, extending their lead at the summit to 14 points.

First-Half Dominance

Barcelona dominated the opening half, taking an early lead that energized the home crowd, with Marcus Rashford breaking the deadlock in the 9th minute with a brilliant free kick, giving the hosts the perfect start.

The lead was doubled just nine minutes later when Ferran Torres finished a smooth team move. With a 2–0 advantage at the break, Barcelona looked fully in control and well on their way to the title.

Second-Half

The second half has seen Barcelona shifting their focus more to solid defense to protect their lead. Meanwhile, Real Madrid has increased the pressure, searching for a way back into the contest, but the home side’s defensive structure has remained difficult to break down.

In the 63rd minute, Jude Bellingham found the net for Real Madrid after connecting with a cross from a recycled corner. However, the goal was immediately ruled out as he was one of four Madrid players caught in an offside position.

The final whistle sparked immediate celebrations across the stadium as Barcelona mathematically secured the league title. It was a clinical performance that effectively ended the race, leaving the gap at the top too wide for Madrid to close in the remaining weeks.

The Spotify Camp Nou fell into a poignant silence ahead of kickoff as players and fans paid tribute to Hansi Flick’s late father.

The collective moment of reflection offered a brief, emotional pause to the pre-match tension, uniting both sides in a show of respect before the rivalry of the Clásico took center stage.
