Dutch media reported that there were children in the sports hall before the accident, but fortunately, they had just left for the locker rooms when the accident happened.

The Moroccan footballer has played for the Morocco U20 and U23 national teams.

Last year, a young Moroccan footballer Youssef Boujamaoui, died in a tragic car accident, he previously played for the Belgian club RFC Liege.

The fatal accident also claimed the lives of Boujamaoui’s younger brother and sister, leaving the family of six heartbroken over the loss of their three youngest children.
