“The partnership will enable us to further expand our offering and add value to our
customers across Africa,” Eonnet explained.
From his side, Co-founder of Mobiblanc Youssef El Alaoui, said that the partnership is in line with his company’s strategy to take part in the digital transformation within the financial sector.
“We share the ambition with Skaleet to offer integration of innovative solutions with cutting-edge, technological expertise in order to bring added value to our partners and respond to the new business requirement of the sector,” he added.
Through this new partnership, Mobiblanc, and Skaleet would join forces to be positioned at the forefront of the digital transformation that’s reshaping Africa’s financing landscape, a statement from the company indicates.
Fintech is a rising force in Africa. In 2021, African fintech startups attracted the most funding at $2.3 billion, more than double the amount raised by other startups operating in other sectors.
Currently, Africa’s biggest startup, Flutterwave is operating in fintech.
The rise of fintech in Africa is often associated with the promise of financial inclusion, as experts reckon that adopting fintech-based solutions can potentially help with the continent’s suboptimal economic inclusion.
