Rabat – Romania-based travel company 212Quest on Tuesday announced a Spain-Portugal-Morocco sailing travel quest adventure.

The eight-day sailing adventure will allow travelers to discover historical and natural landscapes in 12 cities in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.

Only travelers aged 15 or older are allowed to take part in the journey.

The starting point will be in Malaga. The treasure-hunt quest is set to begin with a sightseeing tour in Malaga and then move to Sotogrande for the second day.

The next two days will be in Tangier and Chefchaouen before a detour to Sevilla and Huelva in Spain and then crossing to the Portuguese cities of Portimao and Lisbon.

The organizers said that the sailing quest will follow medieval paths. Throughout the journey, the travelers will collect items and experience local Mediterranean cuisine.

They will also stop at renowned monuments such as the Castle of Gibralfaro and El Tajo de Ronda in Spain, the Caves of Hercules in Tangier, Santa Clara Monastery, and  Silves Bridge in Portugal.

“This travel quest aims to show travelers the beauty of this shared Moorish heritage through challenging but entertaining treasure hunts that make them do crazy things,” Avi Zaslavskiy, the journey’s organizer said in a press release.

Besides learning about the country’s history and culture and fun adventures, the top three participants will receive a refund of their participatory fees. The refund rates are 100%, 50%, or 25% for the first, second, and third place.

Based in Constanta, 212Quest is a travel adventure company that offers treasure hunt adventures in Africa, North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
