Rabat – Local authorities in the Kenitra province, near Rabat have reported that an individual showing signs of mental disorder assaulted three people with a knife.

On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the knifeman attacked three people in the integrated industrial zone of Ouled Bourahma (Amer Lower Comunity) in Kenitra.

The three victims were transferred to El Idrissi hospital after the attack to receive necessary medical care.

One of the three victims is seriously injured, stated the Royal Gendarmerie of Kenitra. The Royal Gendarmerie of Kenitra has arrested the aggressor, who appears to be mentally unwell.

Local authorities of Kenitra are currently subjecting the knifeman to investigation under the supervision of the public prosecution to determine his motives behind committing the criminal acts.
