Rabat – Morocco’s embassy in Ukraine has updated its instructions for Moroccans stranded in Ukraine, asking them to abide by safety instructions issued by the Ukraine government, and offering a guide for Moroccans seeking to return back home.
The embassy has provided a phone number for Moroccans in Ukraine to contact for specific instructions: 0 48 538 224 200, 00 36 702 725 123, or 00 36 1 391 4310.
The official press release equally details a list of border crossing points that Moroccans can head to in order to leave Ukraine. The list includes Hruszow, Uhrynow,Jagodzin, Rawa Ruska, Krakowiec, Smolnica, Szeginie, and Uscilug.
According to the press release, Moroccans can opt to leave the country via Poland through the following border-crossing points: Budomierz, Dolhobyczow, Dorohusk, Hrebenne, Korczowa, Kroscienko, Medyka, and Zosin.
The Moroccan embassy in Kiev listed another list of border-crossing points for Moroccans closer to Hungary including Barabas Kozuti Hataratkelohely, Beregsurany Kozuti Hataratkelohely, Lonya Kouzuti Hataratkelohely, Tiszabecs Kozuti Hataratkelohely, and Zahony Kozuti Hataratkelohely.
For Moroccans in Ukraine’s eastern regions, possible border-crossing points include Tulcea, Isaccea (TL), Sulina, Port, Cartal (BH), and port. Moroccans within the North regions can address further inquiries through the following phone number: 40 771 028 297.
Moroccan nationals in the northern region in Ukraine are called to head to the following border-crossing points include Halmeu (SM), Diakove (AO), Câmpulung la Tisa (MM), Teresva (AO), Sighetu Marmației (MM), Slatina (AO), Vallée de Vişeului (MM), Dilove (AO), Vicșani (SV), Vadul Siret (CE), Siret (SV), Tereblecea (CE)
Moroccans closer to the Slovakian borders can use the Uzhhorod border crossing point, and may address any inquiries to the following phone numbers: 004366565641899 or 004366565779197.
