Morocco’s national flag Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has scheduled a second repatriation flight from Ukraine’s Kyiv to Morocco’s Casablanca on February 15 amid a threat of a military conflict in the country.
Royal Air Maroc said that scheduling a second flight follows the high demand on the first flight scheduled for the same day.
“We have experienced a strong demand on the first Royal Air Maroc flight, a second flight is now available on the same day of February 15th, 2022 from Kyiv to Casablanca,” Royal Air Maroc said in a tweet.
The special flight will depart from Boryspil International Airport in Kyiv at 4 p.m. and will arrive at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are currently available for purchase at travel agencies and on the Royal Air Maroc website.
The cost of a one-way flight from Ukraine to Morocco is MAD 4,801 ($511).
Due to the lack of direct flights between the two countries, Royal Air Maroc’s two repatriation trips will make it easier for Moroccans to return home safely from Ukraine without having to transit via other nations’ airports.
In addition to the Royal Air Maroc repatriation flight, Air Arabia also announced today that it will secure a Kyiv-Tangier flight on Tuesday.
