Rabat – Increasingly active on social media, fashion bloggers in Morocco are now a part of the fashion establishment, seen in the front rows of fashion events and starring on magazine covers. Some have even launched lucrative businesses.

Morocco World News zoom in on five dynamic women ruling the Moroccan blogosphere, doing their best to share with their readers the newest fashion in Morocco and worldwide.

1. Amina Allam – Look by amina allam

The London-based personal stylist, personal shopper, and model has secured the top spot on our list, with more than 187,000 Instagram followers, 48,250 Facebook subscribers, and a website that’s popular in both the US and Morocco. Her reputation quickly grew in Lebanon thanks to her participation in the LBC reality show Mission Fashion in 2017. Allam has leveraged her blog to launch a successful online store inspired by Morocco.

2. Yasmina Olfi – Fashion Mintea

The Moroccan fashion and lifestyle blogger started her French-language blog, Fashion Mintea, in 2012, covering general trends, reviewing various products, and providing tips and inspiration Her sophisticated looks and feminine style have garnered her a large audience across Instagram (110,000 followers) and her own website. She attends major fashion event such as Dior’s Paris Fashion Show and Super Fashion Week in New York.

3. Zineb Rachid – The Cherry Blossom

Zineb Rachid, 24, is based in Casablanca. She started her fashion and travel blog in 2011 and has amassed on Instagram following of 59,000 people. She also pulls in some impressive traffic on her website. Rachid is the new face of the sportswear brand Adidas for the #HereToCreate campaign. The blogger is also a fan of traveling and consistently looks great while doing it – from sequin dresses to classic white sneakers, her relaxed style is an all-around inspiration.

4. Afaf and Marwa El Ouardassi – Afaf & Marwa

Afaf is a digital PR manager and Marwa is a business and management student. They created the Afaf&Marwa blog on March 14, 2011. The two sisters are from Tetouan, currently living in Casablanca, and share their passion for all things fashion related. Over the past years, the blog has allowed them to turn from two girls passionate about fashion and lifestyle into experts who collaborate with brands on diverse projects. The sisters can be seen at different fashion and beauty events such as Armani Exchange’s opening as well asg in fashion collaborations like a recent New Yorker collection photo shoot.

5. Zineb Fatara – Lady Zee

A graduate of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Zineb Fatara was one of the very first Moroccan fashion bloggers to rise to prominence. She created her fashion blog in 2012. Currently based in Paris, she is the founder of Lady Zee fashion brand. Her relaxed and chic style is lovable. Daring to try out every outfit possible, her blog will keep you on your toes and inspire you to be as experimental with your style. She also varies the subjects, talking about fitness, travel as well as fashion.
