Rabat – Following his hat-trick during Champions league clash with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid’s superstar Cristiano Ronaldo managed to score three goals against Atletico Madrid in the club’s first Champions League semi-final game on Tuesday at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid stunned their opponent with a 3-0 victory, with Cristiano scoring all of three. The Portuguese opened the scoring at the first ten minutes of the game. He scored a second goal in the 73rd minutes into the game and the third 13 minutes later
Real Madrid had to win the match to improve their position in the European competition.
Many international figures praised Ronaldo for his hat-trick, including former Manchester City midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
“To score a hat-trick in a game of this magnitude, semi-final, local derby, is absolutely incredible,” Hargreaves told BT Sport.
