Allison is a recent graduate from The Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Middle East Studies, with a minor in Communications. Throughout her studies, Allison specialized in international development, the Arabic language, and the history, religions and contemporary conflicts of the Middle East. Taking advantage of Florida State University’s proximity to the Florida State Capitol, she interned for a Florida State Representative and Florida State Senator for two years, and worked alongside a United States Senate candidate on his campaign for office. Allison was also an International Services Intern at the Red Cross Chapter in Tallahassee, where she took on the task of raising awareness and funds for the Measles and Rubella Initiative as well as the dissemination of the International Humanitarian Law.
