Liz Yaslik is a Middle East and North African researcher studying Arabic at the Arabic Language Institute in Fez. She recently completed her work as a Middle East and Arabic research analyst for Thomson Reuters based in Singapore. During her time at Fordham University, where she received a B.A. in Middle East Studies, she took numerous stints abroad to study Arabic in Cairo and Rabat. Her previous experience in the journalism field includes editorial work for Africa.com, show production with CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS, and coverage of the United Nations for CNN International.
