Washington – Morocco is a “fascinating” country whose secular history intertwines with “key moments in the US history”, US Secretary of State John Kerry said at the J Street conference in Washington.
“Morocco is a fascinating country whose history intertwines not only with the founding of the United States of America, but also with the place of the Hebrew culture in the heritage of the Kingdom”, Kerry stressed in a speech Monday at the annual J Street Conference, a US lobby founded in April 2008 to promote Israeli-Palestinian dialogue by diplomatic and peaceful manner.
Addressing the former US ambassador in Rabat, Sam Kaplan, the US Secretary of State thanked the former diplomat for his efforts “to make our relations with Morocco among the strongest in line with the age-old ties between the two nations”.
