ALGIERS, Sept 5, 2012 (AFP)

Algeria’s new cabinet, appointed by President Abdelaziz Bouteflika after a four-month delay, saw the key ministers of energy, foreign affairs and interior all keep their posts, with one major change.

Former water minister Abdelmalek Sellal replaced Ahmed Ouyahia as premier.

Below is the new Algerian cabinet line-up announced late on Tuesday.

– Prime Minister: Abdelmalek Sellal (new)
– Acting Defence Minister: Abdelmalek Guenaizia
– Interior: Dahou Ould Kablia
– Foreign: Mourad Medelci
– Justice: Mohamed Charfi (new)
– Finance: Karim Djoudi
– Energy and Mines: Youcef Yousfi
– Water Resources: Hocine Necib (new)
– Religious Affairs: Bouabdallah Ghlamllah
– War Veterans: Mohamed Cherif Abbas
– Territorial Management and Environment: Amara Benyounes (new)
– Transport: Amar Tou
– Education: Abdelatif Baba Ahmed (new)
– Agriculture and Rural Development: Rachid Benaissa
– Public Works: Amar Ghoul
– National Solidarity and Family: Souad Bendjaballah (new)
– Culture: Khalida Toumi
– Commerce: Mustapha Benbada
– Higher Education and Scientific Research: Rachid Haroubia
– Relations with Parliament: Mahmoud Khedri
– Vocational and Educational Training: Mohamed Mebarki (new)
– Housing and Urban Development: Abdelmadjid Teboune
