Morocco’s Yassine Moudatir on Friday won the gold medal in the -60kg judo competition, after beating Turkey’s Ahmet Sahin Kaba, in the 17th Mediterranean games being held in Turkey from June 20 through 30.
The Bronze medal went to Lebanese Ziad Damien and Italian Fabio Basile.
In the women category, Morocco’s Fatima Zahra Ait Ali took the bronze medal in the – 57 kg by beating Greece’s Sofia Tsolani.
The gold medal went to Slovenia’s Vlora Bedeti who beat Italian Martina Lo Giudice
