TEHRAN, Iran – Iranian negotiator Abbas Araqchi said “two or three” differences remain with the major powers as nuclear talks go into a fourth day in Geneva on Saturday, Fars news agency reported.
“We still have two or three points of difference. However, the two sides are getting close to an agreement,” Araqchi, a deputy foreign minister, told Fars shortly before the talks resumed.
“We should see whether we can resolve those differences.”
The foreign ministers of all 6 powers in the P5+1 group – Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States plus Germany – were to join Saturday’s talks in the quest for a so-far elusive deal.
The first 3 days of talks had been led by political directors.
