Rabat – Nidal Ibourk, a Moroccan citizen born in Rabat and living in the U.S. since 2006, has been selected to compete in the next round of competition in MBC’s The Voice.

Ms. Ibourk is flying the flag for Morocco on an international level. After receiving a full scholarship from the US State Department to complete her post-graduate studies, Ms. Ibourk earned a second Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication and a Master’s degree in Human Resources’Training and Development.

In addition to her significant academic and professional achievements, Nidal started a career as a singer in 2008.  Since then, she has performed in a number of events in Morocco, Europe, and the US.  She attributes her success to hard work, patience, and motivation.

Having set the stage for a singing career in outside the Arab world, Nidal is now turning her attention back to her origins in the Arab world, by participating in one of the biggest shows sponsored by MBC:  The Voice.

“The voice is a great experience for me in my music career, and it will open more opportunities for me in the Arab world, after my experience in the US. I hope the audience will get to know more about me and my voice through the show,” she said.

With a lot of preparation, concentration, and drive, Nidal was able to gain the attention of the judges and be selected for the next step in the show by joining Assi Al Hallani’s team. “I’m very happy to be selected among thousands to participate in the show. The level of competition is very high and I’m ready for it. I was delighted to receive messages of encouragement and support and I would like to thank everyone for their support,” she added.
