Casabanca – Police services at the Casablanca Mohammed V Airport arrested, on Tuesday, an Italian national for the possession of 1.5 kg of cannabis, a police source said.
The smuggler, a recidivist born in 1954, was apprehended while he was getting ready to take the flight to Rome, said police chief Abdelhadi Siba.
The drug was hidden among hygiene products, said the source, adding that the accused already served two years in prison in 2010 for the same motive.
