Rabat – The Moroccan blue helmets, deployed in the oriental region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, were honored by the United Nations stabilization force in DRC (MONUSCO) at the end of their mission.
A medal-awarding ceremony was held last week in Dungu (Estearn DRC) for the Moroccan servicemen whose term ended “in a satisfactory manner”, said a MONUSCO communiqué.
Last March, the Moroccan blue helmets serving in Dungu were also granted the MONUSCO medal for their self-denial and dedication.
