Rabat – Japan is keen on giving new momentum to its cooperation with Morocco and broadening it to several sectors, said, on Tuesday, Japanese MP Masaji Matsuyama who is leading a parliamentary delegation on a visit to Morocco.
She lauded, in a statement following a meeting with speaker of the house of advisors Mohamed Sheikh Biadillah, the close and deep ties between Morocco and Japan, recalling that the two countries share a long history of cooperation that spanned over 40 years.
The meeting was an occasion to review means to foster cooperation between the parliaments of both countries, and highlight the Japanese public aid to the Kingdom, said Matsuyama.
Biadillah hailed the important support by Japan to Morocco’s socio-economic development and said that the two parties expressed their resolve to join hands in order to promote Japan-Morocco-Africa triangular cooperation.
