Join on Telegram Katerini (Greece) – Morocco, through its culture and arts, was the country of honor of the 44th Olympus Festival, held in July and August in Dion, an ancient city in the region of Thessaloniki, the second largest Greek city.
This participation in a major event in the Balkans, at the initiative of the Moroccan Ministry of Culture and the Embassy of the Kingdom in Greece, was a unique opportunity to highlight the richness of Moroccan culture in all areas of arts and crafts and market the destination of Morocco.
During the Olympus Festival, one of the most prestigious events in the calendar of cultural events in Greece, Morocco has been present through multiple artistic and cultural activities since the curtain-raising in mid-July.
Since 1972, the Olympus Festival offers Greek and foreign visitors memorable artistic events. The performances are staged in areas that bear great historical and cultural value, such as the ancient theater of Dion, ancient Livithra, the Mediterranean Mosaics Centre and the Platamon castle.
Festival goes have a variety of theaters (ancient and modern), concerts, exhibitions, and archaeological seminars from which to choose during the summer months of July and August.
