Rabat – Canada have confirmed their starting lineup for their World Cup round-of-16 match against Morocco.
Head coach Jesse Marsch has selected Maxime Crepeau in goal for the knockout match.
Alistair Johnston starts on the right side of defense, with Moise Bombito and Derek Cornelius expected to play in central defense.
Richie Laryea also starts, giving Canada pace and energy on the left side.
Stephen Eustaquio starts in midfield and will be one of Canada’s key players in possession.
Nathan Saliba also starts the match in midfield, helping Canada defend and move the ball forward.
Tajon Buchanan and Liam Millar start in the wide areas.
Jonathan David leads Canada’s attack alongside Tani Oluwaseyi.
David remains Canada’s main attacking threat, while Oluwaseyi gives the team physical presence and direct running in the final third.

Canada are expected to use a 4-4-2 formation, although Buchanan and Millar could push higher when the team attacks.
