Vientiane – Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Nasser Bourita, is paying a working visit to Laos to attend the 28th and 29th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summits, which is being held in September 6-8 in Vientiane.
During this visit, Morocco, which is the first African and Arab country to join the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (TAC) of ASEAN, will sign the instruments of accession to this agreement.
On the sidelines of the visit, Bourita met Monday with Laos’ Foreign Minister, Saleumxay Kommasith. The talks focused on bilateral relations and the development of Morocco-ASEAN relations.
