Rabat – Police services at the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca arrested, on Monday, a 67-year old Bolivian citizen who was trying to smuggle around 1,495 grams of cocaine, said the national police.
The search of the luggage of the drug trafficker, who was on the Sao Paolo-Cairo flight and made a stopover in Casablanca, helped to find the illegal substance hidden in his underwear, the police said in a statement.
The suspect was remanded in custody to complete the investigation led under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office.
