Rabat – The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulated Morocco on its return to the African Union (AU), noting that Morocco will be a source of inspiration and a positive force to further develop the organization and enhance inter-African cooperation.
In a letter to the Moroccan embassy in Copenhagen, the Danish ministry said that “Morocco will certainly be an inspiration and a positive force to further develop the Union and inter-African cooperation.”
Morocco reintegration into the AU “brings together all the African nations,” the source pointed out, noting that “in these times of globalization, it is a welcome development that will benefit African peoples.”
An overwhelming majority of African countries voted in favor of Morocco’s return to the African Union (AU), during the 28th Summit of African Heads of State and Government, which was held in the Ethiopian capital.
