Rabat – The second edition of the South Economic Women Initiative (SEWI) will be held on Friday 3 March 2017 in Rabat. This event will be organized by the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Morocco (AFEM) as part of World Women’s Day.

Under the title “Entrepreneurship Tomorrow, the keys to success,” the second SEWI will feature discussions by experts about issues related to the future of companies run by women.

During this year’s debates, SEWI will discuss the future of business in a changing context, the levers to succeed, the importance of networks in the development of the company, and many others topics.

SEWI 2017 also offers its participants, largely female entrepreneurs from Morocco, Europe and Africa, the opportunity to exchange ideas, explore ways of working together and learn about models of success.

Since its founding in 2000, AFEM has managed to attract the attention of a number of industry experts, with a large number of women leaders and partners joining the association at the national as well as the international level.

AFEM supports and works with women from diverse communities and backgrounds, enabling, assisting and inspiring them to set up their own projects and perform as entrepreneurs. In addition, it aims to reinforce their representation as women for diverse decision-making positions and therefore encourage equitable leadership.
