Rabat – Police services at the Casablanca Mohammed V international airport arrested, on Tuesday, a Guinea-Bissau national who was trying to smuggle 4.5 kg of cocaine, national police (DGSN) said.
The suspect, aged 42, arrived from Sao Paulo and was heading for Accra (Ghana).
The illegal substance was concealed in his personal luggage, the source added in a statement. He was remanded in custody to conduct the investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.
