Barcelona – The program of the 23rd edition of the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music (May 12-20) was presented on Thursday evening during a meeting at the El Born cultural center in Barcelona.
The festival, to be held under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, will highlight this year the symbolism of water, in order to urge the world to reconcile with nature and to mobilize to create a clean environment for future generations and the planet.
China, which is this year’s guest of honor, will be represented by a set of traditional shows and choreographies.
The festival will also feature several artists, including Eric Bibb (USA), Lingling Yu (China) and Marc Vella (France).
The inaugural ceremony of the festival will be marked by the presentation of the poetic saga “Spirit On The Water” by Alain Weber.
