Rabat – Paul Pogba, star Manchester United midfielder, has marked the start of Ramadan by visiting Mecca.

Pogba, shared a picture on Instagram of himself undertaking Umrah. The caption read, “The most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my life.”

Pogba, 24, has allegedly visited Mecca before, when at some point in the past he went on Hajj.

This comes less than a week after the French national helped United win the Europa League with a 2-0 victory over Dutch side Ajax. This also comes the summer after Pogba was bought by United from Juventus for a reported record-setting transfer fee of £89m.

He also sent a tweet wishing all a “happy Ramadan.”
