Rabat – Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has signed a five-year TrueChoice Overhaul agreement for the repair, maintenance and overhaul of the CF34-10E engines powering its four Embraer E190 aircraft. With this agreement, General Electric Aviation will be the service provider for all the airline’sengines.
In addition to the CF-34 E190 aircraft, RAM operates 37 CFM56-powered Boeing 737s, CF6-80C2 engine Boeing 767ss, and CF6-80C2-powered Boeing 747s. In December 2016, the airline received its fifth Dreamliner B787 engine,GEnx.
Through this agreement, GE Aviation and Royal Air Maroc will be working together to develop the company’s innovation and digital strategies.
The TrueChoice engine maintenance suite will also include a range of features and customizations provided by GE throughout the life cycle of each engine.
GE Aviation, a General Electric operations unit, is a global provider of jet and turboprop engines, components and integrated systems for commercial, military, business and general aviation aircraft. GE Aviation has a global network of services to handle these products.
