Rabat - In a Warning Weather Report, the National Meteorological Directorate (NMD) has announced heavy snowfall from Monday to Tuesday and cold weather from Tuesday to Thursday in several parts of Morocco.
Rabat – In a Warning Weather Report, the National Meteorological Directorate (NMD) has announced heavy snowfall from Monday to Tuesday and cold weather from Tuesday to Thursday in several parts of Morocco.
As of Monday at 6 p.m., in the provinces of Ifrane, Khénifra, Azilal, Al Haouz, Beni Mellal, Midelt, Boulemane, Figuig and the reliefs of Chichaoua, Sefrou and Ouarzazate, the snowfall will vary between 30 and 50 centimeters, to stop Tuesday evening.
Temperatures will vary from Tuesday to Thursday, between -5 and 0 degrees Celsius for minimum temperatures and between 3 and 8 degrees Celsius for maximum temperatures.
The cold weather will also affect the regions of Sefrou, Fes, Tinghir, Taroudante, Chefchaouen, Ouarzazate, Al Hoceima, Taza, Khouribga, Ouezzane, Jerada, Taounate, and Taourirte, with minimum temperatures ranging between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures between 8 and 13 degrees Celsius.
The NMD finally indicates that the kingdom will see heavy rainfall on Monday and next Tuesday.
