Rabat – Policemen at the Casablanca Mohammed V Airport arrested, Saturday, a Brazilian national for his alleged involvement in an attempt of cocaine trafficking.
A statement by the police (DGSN) said that the search operation helped to seize 1.445 kg of cocaine in plastic bags hidden in the underwear of the suspect, aged 33, adding that the scan showed the existence of pills in his stomach that could contain the same drug.
The suspect was sent to the Casablanca Ibn Rochd university hospital centre to remove the pills and put him in police custody to complete the investigation led under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine the drug origin and destination, said the same source.
