Rabat – Mohammed V Airport authorities arrested one Brazilian and one Nigerian passenger involved in cocaine trafficking on Tuesday.
A statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) said that the suspects were carrying more than 4 kilograms of cocaine and 3 liters of liquid cocaine, discovered after an airport search operation.
The suspects arrived in Casablanca on a flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The two suspects were placed in custody for further investigation carried out by the prosecutor’s office, in hopes of determining other potential suspects in drug trafficking operation.
