Rabat – Approximately 45 minutes away from Chefchaouen lies the footpath leading to the waterfall. From here, the route to the cascades consists of nearly two hours of hiking through rough terrain, most of which is uphill.
Though the Cascades d’Akchour is a beautiful sight, the journey to the waterfall is equally beautiful, and gives hikers an opportunity to see the Rif Mountains.
