Rabat – The Moroccan government has set up a vaccination passport that is available for people who have received the two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine passport will be provided digitally and is downloadable via the website www.liqahcorona.ma.
The government announced in a press release that this vaccination passport constitutes an official document, secure and recognized by the authorities.
The statement emphasized that the document allows its holder, without any need for an additional document, to travel throughout the national territory without restriction.
Within Morocco the holders of a vaccine passport can move freely after 11 p.m., surpassing the night curfew while internationally, holders can travel abroad without any restrictions.
The vaccination passport, which has a Quick Response code (QR), allowing it to be authenticated through an application,, can be downloaded in printable or electronic format to be presented on a smartphone.
The document can also be collected, in paper format, from the local authorities under whose jurisdiction the vaccination center of the person concerned is located, the statement concluded.
