Rabat – Five winning teams from “Morocco IoT & AI Challenge” will represent the North African kingdom in the Arab and Africa IoT & AI Challenges in Dubai, between the period of October 17-22 and mid-December, respectively.

Organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) ENSIAS Student Branch, Morocco’s local finals of the two competitions subjected participants to several training sessions and webinars before allowing them to unveil their projects to the jury committee.

The “Morocco IoT & AI Challenge” event aims to enhance Moroccan youth’s motivation through forging their entrepreneurship skills and their innovative minds, exploring the tech world, and implementing their ideas and solutions in real life.

Smart Beehive team from ENSAM Rabat and NoFoasty team from INPT are set to compete in the finals of The Arab IoT & AI Challenge between October 17 to 22 at Gitex Technology Week in Dubai.

Arab IoT & AI Challenge is a regional capacity-building and pre-incubation program for high school and university students, as well as Startups that have innovative ideas in the areas of Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and related fields.

Meanwhile, three other teams will be competing in the second competition of Africa’s challenge in mid-December, namely,  I-SENSE from OCP Maintenance Solutions, Edtronics from ENSAM Casablanca, and Connected Edifice from ENSEM.

Africa IoT & AI Challenge  is a continent-wide program for university students and startups that have innovative projects in the aforementioned fields.

Africa IoT & AI Challenge provides young innovators with a pre-incubation program to unleash their business and technical capabilities through several collaborations with many top-notch companies, industry leaders, policy makers, and academia representatives who are devoted to the development of IoT-related projects.
