Rabat – A Moroccan financial advisory team advised Adenia Partners on their acquisition of leading catering company Overseas Catering Services (OCS), converging sources have reported.
The team was working as part of advising firm Deloitte’s Casablanca-based West Francophone Africa branch, according to Julien Leyrit, the company’s Head of Financial Advisory.
“This investment, which is Adenia’s first in Morocco, will support OCS’s organic and external growth and deliver on the management team’s objective to develop a leading platform in the catering and facilities management market,” said Leyrit in a LinkedIn article.
OCS is one of the leading catering services in Africa and the Middle East, operating in five countries: Morocco, Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal, Mauritania, and the UAE.

They also offer other services like childcare in Morocco, under the brand “A Deux Pas.” It also manages the “Brioche Dorée” and “La Croissanterie” franchises in Morocco.
OCS operates its catering services under the brand name “Ansamble,” which is the leading catering brand in France. They service more than 180 clients across the five countries under the brand name.
The company was founded by Rene Lancien, founder of Ansamble Group, and François Bonnot in 2009 and is now the second largest caterer in Morocco, employing about 3,300 people.
OCS acquired Morocco’s fifth largest caterer, Proxirest earlier this year, strengthening its position in the market further.
Adenia Partners, the firm that invested in the group, marks its first investment in Morocco with their acquisition of OCS, a private equity firm that specializes in capital management and investment in Africa.
They have invested in various firms across different fields, such as telecommunications (Orange), pharmaceuticals (Opham), and infrastructure (Eastcastle).
